The building of this railway station was built in 1898. Today it is known as Espacio Cultural La Estación, after a railway museum was installed there on April 23, 2014. It is one of the oldest buildings in Nuevo Casas Grandes. The railway stop at this site caused various cultural groups to settle around it, which today create a rich and varied mix of cultures. The largest number of inhabitants are: Mennonites, Anglo-Saxons or Mormons, Tarahumaras, Chinese and mestizos.
A fun ride on the tracks in a cart pulled by a horse-drawn carriage, relives those days when that railway was a determining factor in the birth of a new town and which would make its last journey on May 14, 1992, whose rails still hold the indelible memory of a transport that will mark an entire era and become a milestone in history.
