Located just 15 km from the municipal capital, we will find this historic site, where the President of Mexico, Don Benito Juárez García, stayed on his pilgrimage to El Paso del Norte, today Ciudad Juárez. It is at this site where he receives the news that the Colombian government has recognized him with the title that will distinguish him to this day as the “Benefactor of the Americas.”
