Built in 1993 by architect Mario Schjetnan and inaugurated on February 26, 1996. Endowed with strong symbolism, the museum's contemporary design, inspired by the ceremonial mound of Paquimé, has a circular floor plan, large interior patios, large windows, in addition to its tones and textures, which blend harmoniously into the desert landscape, which is why the architectural project won the International Critics Award at the Architecture Biennial in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1995. It is located 1 km from the center of the Magical Town of Casas Grandes / (Estimated time 5 min).
