Cable car | Parque Barrancas

The cable car is located at the Divisadero Station, next to the Piedra Volada viewing point. It has a back-and-forth system, with one cabin going in one direction and another cabin going in the opposite direction at the same time. There are two 60-passenger cabins, with the capacity to transport 510 people per hour. These cabins reach the Mesa de Bacajipare, a viewing point that offers an impressive panoramic view of the union of the Barranca del Cobre, the Barranca Tararecua and the Barranca de Urique; the latter being the deepest: 1,879 meters.



Schedule and departures: Every 30 min. In high traffic areas, departures are modified to every 15 min.


Duration: 40 minutes.

- 10 minutes: Tour from the Piedra Volada viewpoint to the Bacajípare Table (Cable Car Station B).

- 20 minutes: At the Inn for photographs or simply to admire the magnificent view.

- 10 minutes: Return.


Limits: There is no weight or age limit. Each cabin can hold 5,880 kg or 60 people weighing 80 kg on average.

Cost:

- Adults: $250.00

- Children (3 to 12 years): $130.00, $130.00 for INAPAM - Family package: $650.00 for two adults and 3 children under 12 years old.
