A little history of Chihuahua

Foundation of what is now the city of Chihuahua, which was originally called San Francisco de Cuéllar and later San Felipe El Real de Chihuahua, from this fact the spatial axis of this territory the mining district of Parral to the south, the mission of Casas Grandes and the presidio of Janos to the north "moved" towards the east with the forced passage through Chihuahua.

Meal

In Creel you can eat well, since time immemorial the Rarámuris have planted beans, pumpkin and corn, the basis for making pinole. Venison was only consumed on special occasions. With the arrival of the Chepe railway, seafood products arrived from the coast.

Local culture

Food

The railroad arrived and the local diet diversified. They incorporated beef and chicken, fruits, vegetables, fish and seafood. Estación Divisadero is famous for its delicious flour or corn gorditas, filled with roast meat, red and stuffed chiles.
